In the garden...
The baby birds are now in the garden and being fed by their mum and dad. They're not very good at flying yet...

Empty nest
The nest is empty now. We hope that this is because the young birds have left and are being looked after by their parents in the garden. Here is what the RSPB website says...

"Young blackbirds leave the nest when they are fully feathered but not yet able to fly. They remain flightless for a couple of days. ... the parents will continue to look after it for a further three weeks."

One of our chicks is missing...
We have just realised that there now only seem to be two chicks left in the nest. We've had a good search in the garden, but can't find the missing chick. Here's a video (160kB) showing the two remaining chicks.
